FROM THE DESK OF FR. BONA: I would like to draw your attention to a special Mass this week. On Thursday, we celebrate the solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord. We will have Mass at St. Elizabeth at Noon. At St. Emeric I will have that day Mass at 9AM and 6PM. Annunciation is a great Marian feast that commemorates the Incarnation of the Lord. Also, below is the posting of Masses and liturgical services for the Holy Week. You will notice that there will be no Mass on Holy Thursday at St. Emeric and there will be no Easter Vigil at St. Elizabeth. Being administrator of two parishes presents a challenge at times like these. Hence, I needed to make some compromises and have only one Mass for both communities on two occasions. We will give this schedule a try this year and, please, let me know what you think. As we begin the last two weeks of Lent (called Passiontide), we enter in a deeper way into the Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ. May we strengthen ourselves to carry our crosses well. God bless you all! Fr. Bona.
