The May Crowning is a Marian devotion that became widespread in Catholic culture at the end of the 16th century. Our parish also celebrated this beautiful ritual on Mothers’ Day with the assistance of one of our youngest parishioners, Harper Kaman.
Fr. Antal presents a bouquet of flowers picked from the parish garden.
Harper and her father enter the eastern side altar.
The side altar is adorned with an embroidered cloth that reads “Sweet Heart of Mary, be our refuge!” in Hungarian.
Harper and her father place the bouquet at the Marian altar.
