THE SAINT ELIZABETH FRIENDS & ALUMNI SUMMER DINNER

SUNDAY, July 25, 2021 at ST. ELIZABETH of HUNGARY CHURCH

We cordially invite and await our dear friends who hold the historic St. Elizabeth Church near to their hearts for a delicious summer lunch in the church’s Boehm Hall. Additionally, we would like to reach out to the alumni, who long-ago roamed the halls of St. Elizabeth School. We should never forget about the place that prepared us for life! Let us hold on to St. Elizabeth and the magnificent national landmark church with our presence at this event, but also on other Sundays of the year. Please consider supporting our Church Bell restoration project.

The Holy Sacrifice of the MASS (SZENTMISE) will be at 11 AM

Dinner follows the MASS

Menu: Chicken paprikás, cucumber salad, dessert, and coffee. Food catered by the Balaton Restaurant.

Price: $18 for adults, $10 for students, free for children under 10. To make reservations for the dinner, please call Virginia Kachmar (home: 216-791-6270 or cell: 216-246-2370) by July 20.

My friend and her son wanted to attend the Sunday dinner today. She saw the message on Facebook. Unfortunately, no contact information was included, nor was there any indication people would have to make reservations ahead of time. I saw the information on the church website, but since I was not planning to go there myself, I didn’t think about it much. Next time, please show the phone number or provide instructions about how to make reservations.I feel bad for my friend who made the effort to drive there and couldn’t enjoy it

I am very sorry for the confusion. However, the Facebook post you refer to, was not our official post. It was on a personal Facebook page of an individual. I will communicate with that individual and try to make sure things like this will not happen in the future. It is always good to check the official information on our website to make sure.
